Our summer tour took place on Sunday and the weather was in the mainOK except for a flash flood in Freefolk, and two dodgy motors.

The first dodgy motor was John Burton's XJS that arrived with brakes "on fire" - see the picture for evidence.

The museum was very interesting with lots of things to see from aeroplanes to buses, motor cycles, cars, tractors, lorries, agricultural devices........

Lunch was enjoyed by all, and on departure we had another XJS "failure". This time John Greenaway's XJS refused to run and had to be abandoned in the pub car park. It has now been retrieved and is awaiting repair. John wants to to thank all those who helped and subsequently phoned up to ask how things were.

Back to Ashe Hill for tea, coffee and cakes and some interesting experiences close to the end. Our run through was dry, 20 minutes later Stephen Adam drove through deep floods causing his E-Type to stall and then run rough, and then 20 minutes later the flood was gone! Global warming?
